Manchester United have announced the signing of striker Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna for a fee of £36.5m (€42.5m).

It’s well known that the Red Devils are in need of a new striker to ease the burden on Rasmus Hojlund. And they have got Zirkzee exactly what he needs.
Serksi has a release clause of £34.3m (€40m) but United have opted to pay a slightly higher fee of £36.5m. Payable over three years.
The 23-year-old forward travelled for a medical on Friday. And has put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him at the club until 2029, with the option to extend for a further year.

The fee is understood to be £36.5m (€42.5m), slightly above his £34.4m (€40m) release clause, but it is in exchange for more favourable payment terms.
